Chelsea want Philippe Coutinho to replace Eden Hazard

Former Premier League champions, Chelsea have identified Barcelona ace, Philippe Coutinho, as a potential replacement for forward, Eden Hazard.

According to the Telegraph, Hazard is expected to notify Chelsea of his decision to join Real once the season is over.

While the Blues are willing to splash the money - a new deal worth more than £300,000-a-week that has always been on the negotiation table - to keep the 28-year-old at Stamford Bridge beyond his current contract that runs until the end of the 2019-2020 season, Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has recently stated the decision to leave Stamford Bridge would be for Hazard to make.

Tiemoue Bakayoko: The Chelsea midfielder has spent the last six months on loan at AC Milan but is now hoping to make it a permanent move, the Mail says.

The comments were made two months ago, but will be aired in a documentary on Wednesday. Since admitting he has made a decision, the Belgian has attempted to keep English media guessing and could well continue to keep publicly sending out mixed messages.

After Chelsea beat Southampton in October, Hazard admitted to being torn over his next move. When I'm in the field, I just want to play.

Chelsea could reportedly be offered the chance to sign one of Isco or Marco Asensio in a move which could witness Eden Hazard make the switch to Real Madrid. It is like I have said a lot of times, if I leave I will be happy, I know if I stay I will be happy'.

If he wants to go, I think he has to go. "I will wait for the right moment".
