Within a few weeks, Google will roll out Interpreter Mode for Google Assistant on Google Home devices and smart displays. With this feature, users are able to receive translations for dozens of languages and conduct conversations in real time. There were at least three Google Home-like devices announced at the show (by JBL, Anker and Verizon), created to bring the Assistant to your vehicle, so you can use it for navigation, music, and much more.

The company said Google Assistant is set to be present in one billion devices by the end of January, in 80 countries and in almost 30 languages.

"Whether it's reading texts aloud, playing music or finding an alternate route, it's more convenient to let the Google Assistant handle the task at hand, especially when driving".

Arguably the more significant discounts are for Amazon and Google's smart home devices.

Google has been working with Anker and JBL to build the Assistant into vehicle accessories so that users can connect smartphones to their auto stereos through Bluetooth or AUX. Later in 2019, the Assistant will be coming to more popular media and entertainment devices, including television sets from Samsung.

Even at this year's CES, some of the company's partners, including Sony, Hisense, Philips, TCL, Skyworth, Xiaomi and Haier, are showcasing Android TV devices that come with Google Assistant. "Simply turn on "Gentle Wake Up" and the lights in your bedroom simulate the sunrise 30 minutes before your morning alarm goes off, to help you wake up and feel more energized", Google added.

Soon, users will be able to check in for their flights, and save and retrieve boarding passes on Google Assistant via both Android and iOS smartphones. Beta testing for the new feature has already begun, allowing Google's Siri-competitor to be the main voice input on some Sonos speaker models. The new feature will first be available on United Airlines' domestic flights.

This is not all, Assistant can now also book hotels for you. The Assistant also tracks the traveler's itinerary through applications such as Google Keep, Any.do, Bring! and Todoist.
