TMZ releases video of Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt attacking a woman

The clip, which came from an OH hotel hallway camera, was published by TMZ on Friday afternoon.

On Friday, TMZ released a video obtained by the website that shows at least some aspects of the dispute. Kansas City now owns a one-game lead over the Patriots for the No. 1 seed in the AFC ahead of their visit to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday afternoon. The man Hunt struck declined to press charges.

Johnson, who was accused of similar violence multiple times throughout his National Football League career, spoke to Hunt through Twitter following the incident. Hunt can be seen shoving the woman, but when she hits him back, he shoves his friend into her. Abigail Ottinger, 19, claimed she was "pushed and shoved" during a dispute in Cleveland, alleging to police that the Chiefs running back assaulted her around 3:45 a.m. on a Saturday outside his hotel apartment, according to Cleveland.com. The police report said Ottinger suffered abrasions to her knee and hand and a scratch on her chest.

It's reminiscent of the Ray Rice situation in 2014, after the then-Ravens running back knocked out his fiancee (now wife) in a hotel elevator.

Several people try to contain Hunt, but he continues to go after the woman.

No charges were filed from the altercation, though two police reports were created.

Hunt was asked about the incident back in August, but didn't have much to say. "Just be in the right place at the right time. I'm sure he learned some lessons this off-season and hopefully won't be in those kinds of situations in the future", he said. The Chiefs have yet to make any comments publicly on the matter, but some statement from the team (and perhaps action) should also be expected.
