Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have officially gotten married
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra said their "I do"'s in front of family and friends during their wedding ceremony at the sprawling Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India on December 1, 2018.
The couple became engaged four months ago after a whirlwind romance. They plan to have a traditional Hindu wedding there later this weekend. While Priyanka was glowing with happiness, Nick is the flawless "Dulha". Days later, they held a puja ceremony at Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra's house in Mumbai to spiritually celebrate the upcoming event.
Nick's father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., officiated the Christian ceremony on Saturday, where the couple exchanged wedding bands by luxury jeweller Chopard.
The released photos are from Nick and Piryanka's pre-wedding Mehendi gathering, a Hindu custom.
"People will need vacations after this wedding", Chopra reportedly joked, and on Saturday shared a photo on Instagram of the bride and groom at the mehendi ceremony.
Priyanka, Nick and the entire wedding party - including Priyanka's brother Siddharth and Nick's three siblings, Joe, Kevin, and Frankie - were dressed by famed American designer Ralph Lauren. "Where have you been all my life?' Like, loud", Nick Vogue during their joint interview. Priyanka asked Nick, who replied, "I am". Priyanka told Vogue she didn't say anything because she was speechless.
The former Jonas Brothers star had initially left Priyanka unimpressed when he made his first contact with her via private messaging on Twitter in September 2016. If we zoom the photograph and take a close look at his mehendi, we can see " Om Priyankaya Namah Om" written over his palm.
