Overwatch's new hero Ashe debuts in animated short

The oversized Overwatch build is just the start of what LEGO has planned for its tie-in with Blizzard's addictive online shooter.

The arrival of Ashe, Overwatch's newest hero and former buddy of McCree, was announced at BlizzCon today.

"An explosive train robbery gives McCree the chance to settle some unfinished business with a few former associates".

At the "Overwatch: What's Next" panel, game developers said Bob was almost a hero unto himself and joked that Ashe is hero 29, but Bob is hero 29.5.

Ashe was introduced in the new "Reunion" animated short above.

"Ashe quickly fires her rifle from the hip or uses her weapon's aim-down sights to line up a high damage shot".

If you are at BlizzCon or have access to the virtual ticket, you can buy Ashe merch on the Blizzard store right now.

"And Ashe is not alone, as she can call on her omnic ally B.O.B., to join the fray when the need arises".

Her impressive-looking rifle aside, Ashe also has access to a throwable stick of dynamite, which can be detonated manually by being shot or automatically after a short delay. It deals fire damage that hurts enemies over time. Then there's the coach gun, a sawed-off shotgun that knocks Ashe and her targets backward. Not only can she hurl dynamite at her enemies and punch McCree square in his handsome face, but for her ultimate ability she can summon Bob to wreak havoc on her enemies.
