Ivanka Trump says ‘Lock her up!’ doesn’t apply in her case

Mrs Clinton was repeatedly attacked by Mr Trump over her use of a private email server during that campaign, with his supporters chanting "lock her up" at rallies.

In a new interview, Ivanka Trump defended her use of a personal email account to conduct official White House business, but it left many people asking, what's up with her voice?

During the 2016 United States presidential election, Mr Trump said Mrs Clinton deserved to go to jail after classified information was found her private email server, while his supporters chanted "Lock her up!" at rallies.

Ivanka Trump was asked by ABC News, "So the idea of 'Lock her up!' doesn't apply to you?"

"In my case, all of my emails are on the White House server", she said.

"There is no restriction of using personal email". At a press conference a few weeks ago, he told reporters that Ivanka's emails "weren't classified like Hillary Clinton".

The Washington Post first reported that the first daughter and White House adviser had used a personal account for government business, sending hundreds of emails to White House aides, Cabinet officials and assistants.

"They weren't deleted like Hillary Clinton..."

Ivanka said commingling personal and government material wasn't strictly prohibited, citing legal advice about an easy and common way to remedy it.

She was emphatic that "everything has been preserved" and stored in the White House system.

"I don't think it was just a flat-out photo op but that it really, truly was a visit to see innovation in action", he said.

'My goal is to prevent this from happening again - not to turn this into a spectacle the way Republicans went after Hillary Clinton, ' he said.

"He knows exactly where I stand on any issue", she said.

"Why does Ivanka sound like she smoked a pack or two of cigarettes every day?" one Twitter user asked. "And I think after this long period of time, we're well beyond that point, so I think it absolutely should reach its conclusion".

Some are even wondering if she's coming down with a serious vocal cord condition - like Robert Kennedy Jr., who suffers from spasmodic dysphonia (SD). "And seeing children put at risk - running towards the border - is heartbreaking". The FBI found classified information in some of the emails that were sent or received through her private server.
