It'll make you feel good, especially that grand finale where Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn, and Diane Keaton all belt out "You Don't Own Me" dressed in fabulous white ensembles.

During her performance, the 25-year-old almost fell during the song's second verse after she had climbed onto a white chair to sing a few lines.

So half an hour before the latest episode of SNL started, Grande put her new single out into the world, and it nearly immediately became a meme to rival "me voting in 2016 vs.me voting today".

At one point, Grande stood up on a chair, bopping to her song in white heeled boots, but when she stepped down, she stumbled and fell, exclaiming, "Oh my god!" However, the singer's rep has now told ET Canada the release had nothing to do with the "One Last Time" hitmaker.

The singer has been in and out of high-profile relationships over the past few years - most recently a very public, very brief engagement to SNL comedian Pete Davidson - and openly references her love troubles in the song, referencing several of her famous exes by name.

"She's gone! She left!" She finished the performance with a smile, and danced down the aisles of the set while the audience cheered.

However others felt they could relate to her visual depiction of anxiety, including shots of a cloud encompassing her head, Ariana walking in slow motion through a fast-moving room, and then walking through a frozen room.

"I thought we were supposed to exit!"

The host reassured her that it was fine.

Her performance was pre-taped on November 6, but instead of changing a thing, she embraced her fall with a sense of humor and let her fans see the original take in all of its imperfect glory.
