Seattle Seahawks player breaks leg, sends parting message to team

Thomas was carted off the field with his leg in an air cast, and after the game Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed that he had fractured his leg. The Seattle safety's left leg buckled as he tackled Williams in the end zone. Unfortunately for the Seahawks, he won't be in the games, either.

Thomas held out the entire preseason as he tried to land a new contract with the Seahawks.

The image of Thomas seemingly giving the finger to his own team will likely be the final and lasting image of the All-Pro in a Seattle uniform.

"I don't know anything about that", Carroll said, via ESPN.

"He had it all just totally figured out and was as emotional as you can get". So Thomas' frustration is understandable considering his value may be considerably lower heading into free agency next year. Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell, who hasn't reported to the team this season, replied to a post on Instagram post that featured Wagner's quote by writing: "smh exactly.get right bro bro @earl!"

"I think that's the insane part of our business".

Seattle Seahawks defensive back Earl Thomas is greeted by Arizona Cardinals players as he leaves the field after breaking his leg during the second half of an NFL football game. The rookie was carted to the locker room in the first quarter with a knee injury.
