OnePlus posts official OnePlus 6T render

Now that the expected launch event is about two weeks off, we're starting to hear more and more about the OnePlus 6T - from official and unofficial sources alike.

What you see above is the upcoming OnePlus 6T in Mirror Black and Midnight Black finishes, leaked by WinFuture.

OnePlus has already confirmed its new handset will be unlocked with a fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the glass display.

It's just about time for OnePlus' biannual phone refresh, and that means you can expect phone teasers to appear on Twitter with increasing regularity.

The latest teaser features the images of two devices which look very similar to the OnePlus 6. By the looks of it, looks like the OnePlus 6T will come with much thinner bezels than the OnePlus 6T. Courtesy of this new leak, we get to see how the OnePlus 6T looks and what it has got in store to offer in terms of design.

That same technology is also part of the reason that there's no headphone jack and that the phone is 0.45mm thicker than the OnePlus 6, according to Lau.

The OnePlus 6T was recently spotted on in-action on the famous television show KBC hosted by the brand ambassador of OnePlus, Amitabh Bachchan using the in-screen fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 6T.

The notch used in its predecessor, OnePlus 6, took up around a third of the space at the top of the screen.

Finally, OnePlus will launch the device on 17th October in India and reveal all the specifications and features then. Once again confirming that the OnePlus 6T will be featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Given that Lau touched on the phone's only features that OnePlus could reasonably change from OnePlus 6, including the fingerprint sensor, headphone jack, battery charging, and IP rating, we now know nearly everything there is to know about the upcoming OnePlus 6T.

The OnePlus 6T is rumoured to sport a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 2340x1080p and an aspect ratio of 19:9.

Based on reliable reports we have gathered so far, it is expected to come with Android Oreo OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core and come in multiple RAM + storage configuration-6GB RAM+64GB storage, 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage.
