We've already seen gaming smartphones from Asus, Razer Phone, and Xiaomi Black Shark, but now Samsung seems to be joining the group.

As we are still nearly a year away from the probable launch of the Galaxy Note 10, we would take it with tweezers, and even if it were true, it is possible that Samsung will change its mind from now until the beginning of mass production of the phone. According to a patent for Galaxy S10 that has recently surfaced it is likely that the phone will feature an under-the-screen type optical fingerprint scanner. Granted that 128GB is already quite a lot of storage given that the Note 9 allows users to expand storage by a whopping 512GB, it doesn't hurt to have options, right?

Future Samsung Galaxy S10 will be equipped with a fingerprint scanner, located under the display device. The phone is said to come to us at the beginning of next year, and many speculate that it will come with many exciting features such as 5G capability, ultrasonic in-display reader, triple rear cameras, and many more. The company is expected to unveil the gaming phone in November.

Rumors that Samsung will mark a fingerprint sensor under the display of the next generation of its flagship smartphone appeared a few months ago. In the coming days, we expect to come across more news regarding the device. In fact, the company has gone out of its way to mock manufacturers that have relied on the notch to expand the size of their display screens while minimizing bezels.

For reference, Samsung has been working on in-display fingerprint scanner based on ultrasonic technology for years now but hasn't rolled it out yet because it wants it to be ideal, unlike other brands who would risk their rep on new technologies not tested for bugs and errors.

There is the acknowledgment of under panel sensors, which could include the front-facing selfie camera (s), ambient light sensors, etc.
