Lacazette sends message to Unai Emery over Aubameyang partnership

"He (Aubameyang) deserved to score because he has worked so hard since the start of the season".

Unai Emery collected his second victory as Arsenal manager thanks to a fine strike from Alexandre Lacazette in a 3-2 success at Cardiff yesterday.

The Gunners made it back-to-back wins after a thrilling 3-2 victory in Wales, with Aubameyang netting the second of Arsenal's three goals after an assist from Lacazette before the Frenchman netted the victor late on.

Before slamming past Neil Etheridge after being picked out by Alexandre Lacazette in the 62nd minute of the Gunners' Premier League victory, the forward's last 76 goals had been from inside the box. However, Lacazette justified Emery's decision to play him in the same team as Aubameyang after striking into the roof of the net from Torreira's deft assist.

'We have already learned a lot, but mistakes are going to happen.

The home fans were thinking their players would get a point from this game, but Lacazette broke their hearts when he scored the winning goal for Arsenal in the 81st minute. "Everyone can take pleasure to watch us play", he said. "We know it was going to be hard here, the crowd is superb, so if you give them any chance you can really feel the atmosphere, so we did well to overcome this", Ramsey told Sky Sports.

'It is okay, it is good, we will be better week after week. An away win before the worldwide break is just the tonic for a side who only managed one victory on the road in the second half of last season.

"I won't play every week just because of one game".

"Yes it is good and important to win away".
