Wild brawl at nail salon

Michael Lin, manager of the store, told ABC7 that he decided he wouldn't charge the women the $5 for the eyebrow wax, but the pair of customers argued they already paid for the pedicure, even though workers at the nail salon disagreed.

A video showing the Friday night incident was posted to Facebook by a customer who watched the melee at New Red Apple Nail in East Flatbush. Police arrested the customer and one worker after the brawl, according to the New York Post.

Mercy Maduka, who posted the video, wrote on Facebook that the fight began when the customer refused to pay for a botched eyebrow job.

"She said she didn't like it and does not want to pay for nothing", Lin was quoted as saying. In the video, captured by someone at the salon, a group of the workers can be seen surrounding a woman, Christina Thomas. Police say Huiyue Zheng, 32, was arrested on charges of criminal assault while possession a weapon, assault causing injury, menacing and harassment. Both were released on their own recognizance.

Thomas was also charged with a misdemeanor assault.

The clip has been viewed over 200,000 times.

. The nail salon is gross and filthy.

The Brooklyn District Attorney's Office says the investigation is ongoing, and charges will be evaluated accordingly.

A salon customer was arrested as well.

After one of the victims managed to escape, one of the broom-holders attacks another woman.

"I'm expecting justice, but most of all I'm expecting black people to learn that when these business don't respect you, you don't spend your money with them", one protester, Tionna Smalls, told ABC7 NY.

Police say one protestor hit an officer's back after throwing a bottle, according to Pix11.

Following the incident, residents have protested the salon and have called for its closing.

Meanwhile, surveillance video obtained by the New York Daily News showed an employee walking up to two women with two fellow staffers standing behind him - both of them holding brooms. "We need to start supporting our own & run them out of our communities!"
