In addition to Quadro RTX 8000, announced Siggraph 2018, the Geforce RTX 2080 Ti will pack 4352 CUDA cores and comes with 11GB of 14Gpbs GDDR6 memory on a 352-bit memory interface, giving it a memory bandwidth of 616GB/s. NVIDIA announced new GeForceRTX desktop graphics cards at Gamescom just in time for holiday season. According to that, the GeForce RTX 2070 is listed at $599 USA, the GeForce RTX 2080 costs $799 U.S. and the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti hits $1199 US.

The tech company teased a new graphics card, the GeForce RTX 2080, in a video released last Tuesday.

The firm's new GeForce RTX series of graphics processing units (GPU) are capable of six times the performance of their predecessor and support cutting-edge ray-tracing technology.

The non-Ti GeForce RTX 2080, meanwhile, will come loaded with 8GB. Nvidia notes that the cards should be nothing new to what gaming enthusiasts have been used to for a while.

The presentation was punctuated with a host of detailed explanations about different lighting techniques, real-time ray tracing, and other rendering techniques. The GTX 1080 and 1080 Ti have similar power and cooling requirements as the RTX models, so these coolers should be sufficient for the RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti, though how far you can overclock might vary more depending on your cooler.

The NVIDIA Ansel framework converts each screenshot into a piece of creative expression with a powerful in-game photo mode and lets the users share them directly on Facebook, Google Photos, and Imgur. Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches on September 14th on Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, with only the former receiving ray tracing support - and then only when paired with a GeForce RTX card. Namely Battlefield V, which looked stunning running on the RTX GPU.

This is the ability to mimic the behaviour of real light and shadow in video game environments, creating "physically accurate shadows and reflections".

The FE version of GTX 2080 Ti will cost $1,199, GTX 2080 will cost $799, and GTX 2070 will cost $599. GTX is out, and RTX is in, and it indicates Nvidia has chose to put all its money on Ray Tracing as the flagship feature for this new generation of GPUs. Over at Amazon you can find the same listing for the RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio alongside a listing for the RTX 2080 Duke for the same $800.

Equipped with a brand new premium design and triple fans, the GAMING TRIO and DUKE series will deliver the best-in-class thermal performance you have come to expect from MSI.
