New Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is edging ever closer to completing his second major signing of this summer's transfer window by bringing Juventus defender Daniele Rugani to the club for £40m on a five-year contract.

Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Michy Batshuayi still have one week remaining after Belgium beat England in the World Cup third-place playoff on July 14, while club captain Gary Cahill is also away for another seven days.

"I had a lot of time to take care of me past year, so now I'm 100%".

Morata became the Stamford Bridge outfits most expensive signing ever when he joined from Real Madrid in a £58 million deal last summer.

Luiz said as quoted by Telegraph, "When I took my decision to come back here from Paris it was to win the Premier League and to do something again with Chelsea".

"I came back to Chelsea to stay here".

A number of Chelsea players have commented positively on Sarri's attacking philosophy, and Hudson-Odoi says the style suits his game perfectly.

David Luiz has insisted that he wants to stay at Chelsea following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as head coach. We play high, with a lot of possession in a technical way. He's trying to help us every single day, double sessions, to learn quickly his philosophy. It depends also on us'.

'But it also depends on us, if we are dedicated every day and doing things every single day in training, especially in this beginning with these friendly games. "It's not just like that, we're doing that every single day".

Chelsea edged Perth Glory 1-0 last week, before drawing 1-1 with inter Milan on the weekend.

"All over the pitch though we move the ball very quickly and we moved it well tonight, but not at the right speed". He's 17, nearly 18 but for me, he is already a man playing football.
