Brand New Story Trailer for Spider-Man PS4 Introduces Silver Sable

Calling all Spider-Man fans!

We had a chance to play Marvel's Spider-Man during E3 in June and even though our session was brief - between 40 minutes and an hour - it is clear that developer Insomniac has got the character absolutely right. Not only will this bundle come with the game, you'll also get some extra in-game content including the Spidey Suit Pack, five Skill Points to spend, a Spider-Drone Gadget, a custom theme for your PlayStation 4, and a Spider-Man PSN Avatar. The controller uses a mixture of that same red color along with white buttons to pair nicely with the console.

As you might expect, it looks pretty dang good.

The bad news is that this limited edition bundle has only been announced for the us and Canada, where it will retail for $399.99. Most of the things that really piqued my interested in this trailer dealt with Norman Osborn and his now clearer intentions, as well as Miles Morales and the role I think he's going to end up playing in Marvel's Spider-Man.

That said, Marvel Powers United VR does seem quite interesting, with X-Men Wolverine, Storm, and Iceman being added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe-orientated line-up of Captain America, Hulk, Black Panther, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel. The bundle is available for pre-order now on Amazon.

Die-hard web-heads without PS4s (or if you're a serious true believer with the system already) can pick up a limited edition Spider-Man PS4 Pro on September 7th. Keep in mind, you won't receive the console until September 7, 2018 - its official launch date. Looking at retailers reveals that the PS4 Pro bundle will sell for $399.99 United States dollars, meaning the PS4 Slim bundle should sell for $299.99 USD.
