Vodafone ₹349 prepaid plan revised, here's what has changed

Recently, Vodafone launched a prepaid plan of Rs 569 which also offers 3GB data for a validity of 84 days.

Just two telecom operators, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio, have committed to invest ₹74,000 crore this year alone, which is more than 10% of the total government estimate, COAI director general Rajan S Mathews said.

Under BSNL's STV (special tariff vouchers) of Rs 349, customers get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. Earlier, the plan would offer 2.5GB of 3G/4G data. The plan offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and 100 SMSes per day. Considering Airtel has ranked consistently ahead of Vodafone in terms of speed and coverage, Vodafone's new plan may not be a game-changer in terms of gaining new users. Previously, the plan only offered 2.5GB data per day.

Vodafone recently revised its Rs 349 plan, and it now includes 3GB 4G data per day for 28 days.

Like we mentioned in the introduction, Reliance Jio had set the ball rolling in the 4G market. The plan is also valid for 28 days. The plan also comes with access to Jio's suite of apps, though users have to pay an extra Rs 99 for access to the Jio Prime service. The telco now offers a recharge pack worth Rs. 299 with 3GB 4G data per day for 28 days. It is now available in Assam, Mumbai, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh West/East circles. So, with this plan, Vodafone is offering a total of 84GB 3G/4G data with a validity of 28 days. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days. the plan was first launched with 1.5GB data per day. However, it must be noted that none of these plans provides free SMS benefit. It has Rs. 549 pack that offers 3.5GB 4G data per day along with Unlimited Local, STD+Roaming calls and 100 SMSes per day for a validity period of 28 days. This pack is close to The Jio plan of Rs 349. The Rs 349 plan with 3GB data does not show for Delhi NCR circle on Vodafone's website.

This is one of the most affordable mobile plan from BSNL as of now and caters to people who are mostly dependent on voice calls for their daily communication requirement.
