These photos were released around the same time that an official decree from Kensington Palace was issued to "respect Mr. Markle's privacy", so this flies in the face of the dictated convention.

"My Lords, I declare my consent to a contract of matrimony between my most dearly beloved grandson, Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle, which consent I am causing to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered into the books of the Privy Council".

The illustrations on an Instrument of Consent are always linked to the people involved in it and when the same document was produced in April 2011 for the marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Commonwealth flag wasn't incorporated.

It shared: "The design to the left of the text incorporates a red dragon, the heraldic symbol of Wales, together with the UK's floral emblems - the rose, thistle and shamrock".

The Instrument of Consent is drafted by the Crown Office and illuminated on vellum, a material reserved only for important state documents.

Harry is the grandson of Queen Elizabeth and sixth-in-line to the throne and will marry Markle, star of US TV drama "Suits" next Saturday at Windsor Castle, home to the British royal family for almost 1,000 years.

Meanwhile, wedding preparations are on in full swing with thousands of royal fans and well-wishers expected to descend upon the town of Windsor next weekend.

Fraser says he never wanted to be a Prince Harry copycat, but he wanted to find his essence to capture on screen.

He later told BBC News: "The fact that I fell in love with Meghan so incredibly quickly was confirmation to me that all the stars were aligned".

The lengths of silk were spotted at the London premises of Joel & Sons Fabrics, which holds the royal warrant as "supplier of fabrics" to Her Majesty the Queen.

Pictures have been released of the Instrument of Consent, an elaborate notice of approval, in which the Queen agrees that Prince Harry can marry Meghan Markle. Markle, 36, said she knew little about her royal date while Harry said he had never heard of Markle or watched her TV series.

Ralph & Russo are the leading favourites to design Meghan's wedding dress at odds of 1/4, according to Ladbrokes.
