A new update for the God of War brings a Photo Mode that allows players to take snapshots of Kratos, Atreus and the attractive world created by Santa Monica Studios. Contrary to what the version numbering would indicate, God of War's initial release was 1.10, with each update only fixing and adding a few things.

Sony PlayStation's recent exclusive hit, God of War has gotten a new mode.

Yet another new God of War update hits today, and this one adds a major new feature. Use the R2 and L2 buttons to pan up or down, and move the camera back to its original position by clicking Square.

After God of War is updated, people can enter Photo Mode by bringing up Option from the menu or starting Touch Pad Quick Access via the Settings menu. Users will find five tabs featuring the customization options for the mode.

Camera: Adjust the Field of View, Focal Length, and Camera Roll.

Adjust depth of field, focus distance, and F-Stop of the aperature.

Borders: Add a Vignette and adjust Vignette Intensity, and Vignette Falloff.

In addition to Photo Mode, patch 1.20 allows you to change Menu and UI ont size and remap Rage Mode. This includes a variety of Border styles and the official God of War logo. You can also selectively toggle the visibility of all characters in the scene to highlight some and subdue others.

As well as fiddling with all of those bells and whistles, photo mode will also let players change Kratos and Atreus' facial expressions which should make for some fun pics, considering Kratos usually only oscillates between angry and angrier. This has led to an nearly unprecedented amount of updates for God of War, and I can't recall another title that's received such a rapid-fire burst of patches before on the console.
