In most regards it's an incremental update to the barely six-months-old OnePlus 5T, yet it's still recognisable as something new. We have to say, the company has succeeded in creating a buzz around the flagship. The OnePlus 6 256GB variant price in India has not been revealed yet.

OnePlus 6, One of the most anticipated smartphones of 2018, has finally become official. But thankfully, the resemblance ends there.

Design - with the availability of this Smartphone in the two finishes i.e., a Matte black and the Mirror Black, the screen has the measurement of approximately 2.5 D with the curved back and front sides. OnePlus 6 runs on a 3300mAh battery with the support of Dash Charging. This is the first time that a OnePlus device has ever featured any type of water resistance, although it's unclear whether it's an IP67 rating or just "splashproof". OnePlus 6 will sport a 6-inch edge-to-edge display with a notch that is slated to deliver the best-in-class multimedia experience. OnePlus 6 comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845(64 bit) Octa-Core processor coupled with an Adreno 630 GPU for Gaming. Dash Charge is also back to give a full day's use with half an hour of charging and to quickly charge during intensive tasks like gaming and Global Positioning System navigation. The smartphone maker for its part has already started to compare the OnePlus 6's camera with the iPhone X, Galaxy S9 and Google Pixel 2, suggesting that this year's device could very well be a major hit with photography enthusiasts. The device, like the OnePlus 5T before it, offers dual rear-facing cameras with a primary 16-megapixel sensor, optical image stabilization, and an aperture of f/1.7. OnePlus added a bunch of new effects to Portrait Mode on the OnePlus 6, as well as Advanced HDR for more vibrant colors. OnePlus has been slowly raising the price of its flagships with every release, and the OnePlus 6 could be the first to launch above the $500 mark. It has also partnered with Amazon in India to sell the flagship on the same date.

Alongside the arrival of the OnePlus 6, the Chinese firm also launched a new pair of headphones, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless. The company will also host country-specific launch in India and China tomorrow.

OnePlus is saying that despite the larger screen the OnePlus 6 should have similar battery life to the OnePlus 5 - we'll wait and see if that's true. It is expected to cost Rs 36,999 for a 64 GB model and Rs 39,999 for a 128 GB model. The phone is expected to come in at least three colour variants - black, white and blue.

OnePlus has also confirmed the release of a special OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers limited edition (with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage) in India on May 21 and will be exclusively available on Amazon. In the United Kingdom, the prices have been set at GBP 469 (roughly Rs. 42,900), GBP 519 (roughly Rs. 47,500), and GBP 569 (roughly Rs. 52,000) respectively, while in the European Union, prices have been set at Euro 519 (roughly Rs. 41,600), Euro 569 (roughly Rs. 45,500), and Euro 619 (roughly Rs. 49,500).

We've not had a chance to check them out yet - they've just been announced, after all - but they do pack a few cool new features.
