There's no Premium Pass in #Battlefield V.

The single player mode War Stories, will continue on from Battlefield 1 in V and explore new diverse regions and unique untold stories of the soldiers who fought during WWII, including a resistance group in Norway, battling against the Nazi regime and the frosty elements.

Battlefield V is due to launch on October 19th, exactly one week after Call of Duty: Black Ops III and one week before Red Dead Redemption 2 in what's going to be the hottest October in many years when it comes to game releases.

Returning to its roots, Battlefield V will take place during the WWII era, after the original Battlefield was first set in the second World War in Battlefield 1942, released back in 2002. NVIDIA engineers are working with the Battlefield V developers at DICE to bring the best aspects of the GeForce gaming platform to bear for PC gamers, meaning GeForce Experience will deliver Game Ready drivers, Optimal Playable settings, and other NVIDIA-platform features for Battlefield V. In addition, we are working on integrating cutting-edge technologies, optimizing performance, and creating the definitive PC experience. EA Access and Origin members will get access on October 11, a week ahead of the October 19th launch date. The always popular Conquest mode returns; but, more excitingly, Battlefield 5 will build upon the Operations game mode introduced in Battlefield 1 with the introduction of Grand Operations. The first chapter of Tides of War starts in November and will focus on the fall of Europe.

EA has confirmed some extra details about Battlefield V, including microtransactions and lootboxes, as well as more information about its reveal trailer. Interestingly, there was no mention of the heavily rumored battle royale mode that DICE has reportedly been working on. While the concept art that was shown was absolutely gorgeous, the presentation did little to generate hype. Where were the actual gameplay improvements?
