Salah's sensational goalscoring form has seen him linked with a shock move to Real Madrid after just one season at Anfield.

Salah's back-to-back wins means he becomes the sixth player in Premier League history to win the Player of the Month in consecutive months.

Speaking to CNN before the draw, Salah said: "They've all said: 'We don't want to play against Liverpool!'".

'We'll be opponents for 180 minutes, but whatever happens we'll remain friends for life.

The former AS Roma man will meet his old club in the semi-finals, with the first leg taking place at Anfield.

"He is wonderful, unbelievable", says Salah.

"But if anybody think this is the easiest draw then I can not help this person; they obviously didn't see both games against Barcelona". 'He knows that our style of play suits him very well.

Klopp could have been forgiven for feeling relieved that Liverpool avoided holders Real Madrid and formidable German champions Bayern Munich in Friday's draw.

The clubs will now lock horns at the last-four stage, and Klopp has acknowledged that being able to overcome a three-goal deficit to defeat the tournament favourites was "outstanding good".

"We can, we are in the semifinal", Salah said.

"It feels like a great opportunity to chase the joy that we were not able to experience so many years ago", Roma sporting director Monchi said.

How lovely. Salah was also asked whether Liverpool can win the Champions League, to which he responded: "We can".

The two met at the quarter-final stage previous year and Real advanced after scoring three times in extra-time of the second leg once Bayern had gone down to 10 men.

The highlight of Salah's exploits is his consistency as he regularly bamboozles opposition defenders with his pace, skill and a lethal left foot while delivering for Liverpool every single time, with the latest being in the Champions League quarterfinals against Manchester City.

"They play number nine, I play as a winger more".
