Good bye for a week to the random Google Maps lady and her accent and say hello to Super Mario for directions. A new yellow question mark will now appear next to destinations in the Google Maps apps for Android and iOS, enabling Mario to accompany users on their commute by becoming the navigation arrow in his kart. "When you tap the "?" icon several times (maybe 100), you'll hear a "level up" sound just like the sound on Nintendo's games. The update made available from today itself so you would be able to bring the Mario to your Google Maps by updating this application on a respective Smartphone.

The new Mario icon can be seen on every route you take using Google Maps so it's kind of fun using your favourite gaming character, Mario in works for you through Google Maps.

The feature only lasts for a week, so enjoy Mario Time while you can.

Furthermore, Nintendo announced that Super Mario Run's one-time payment will be at half price starting today until March 25, 2018. That's why March 10 is officially Mario Day! Mario will then replace the navigation arrow and join users on their commutes for the next seven days.
