Mom Walks Out Of Live Shot, Upset Over Son's Team Choice

Copeland, a four-star wide receiver, committed to Florida over Tennessee and Alabama on Wednesday in one of the more weird manners you'll see.

But when it came time to announce his choice, Copeland elected to commit and sign with the Gators, all while wearing a a red suit.

Copeland's mother walks off as he announces his decision.

Family members of top recruits being visibly upset with the prospect's decision is a National Signing Day tradition.

The Escambia High wide receiver chose to commit to Florida, and his mom wasn't a fan of the decision. He told ESPN. "We had a lot of conversations back and forth about where I should go to school, but God led me and God led me in the direction that my heart desired".

Thankfully, what could have made for a very unfortunate story got turned around with a twist as mom later returned to congratulate her son on his college destination. This didn't seem to be what his mom wanted.

When asked about it, he responded: "I don't know exactly why she walked out ..." This is arguably the biggest day of Jacob Copeland's life and his mother's act is overshadowing it.

His mom, seated next to him, was wearing a Tennessee hat and Alabama sweatshirt.

His mother later returned and gave him a hug.
