In the end, what you're getting is the first presentation of what Android Go can do on low-budget smartphone internals. There's a slightly inferior quad-core MediaTek processor, as well as a fingerprint sensor on the rear and the same facial recognition features on board. Alcatel also launched the very first Android Go phone and announced two new tablets running Android Oreo. Besides, the tablet measures 255x155x9.35mm and weighs 415 grams.

The phone's rear camera comes in at 13-megapixels, with the front shooter sporting 5-megapixels. The Alcatel 3V is equipped with a 6-inch IPS display, MediaTek MT8735A processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB expandable internal storage, dual 12MP and 8MP rear cameras powered by a 3000mAh battery. It is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6580 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage.

If you're looking for a new tablet that you can toss around the house, Alcatel has lobbed a couple of options your way: the Alcatel 1T 10 and 1T 7. Some other features are 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, quad-core processor, fingerprint sensor and 3000mAh battery. There's also a FaceID-style facial recognition unlock feature this time around, called Face Key.

Finally, the Alcatel 1 Series, which features the model 1X.

The 3X and 3V have dual rear cameras for offering a portrait mode, but the 3 doesn't.

The Alcatel 5 is priced at 220 Euros (~$270) and will come in Metallic Gold and Metallic Black. The standard Alcatel 3 features a 5.5-inch 1440×720 pixel display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The user can authenticate this device using the fingerprint sensor or face unlock. On the front is 5.7-inch HD+ ( 1440 x 720 pixels) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The 5 Series is the most expensive lineup of the three and perhaps the most intriguing. It also includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It will be running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

But one model runs full-on Android Oreo.

As we mentioned, the company alongside also launched new smartphones, and these included one of the first Android Go smartphones - the Alcatel 1X. Ouch. At least the price is certainly cheap checking in at €100 for a single-SIM variant and €110 for a dual-SIM variant. There's 16GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot if you need more storage, a 2,460mAh battery powering the whole package, and a fingerprint sensor on select models.
