A man was arrested Tuesday evening after he and another person carjacked a victim at gunpoint then committed an armed robbery nearby on the Northwest Side, according to Chicago Police.

Police stated Thursday that a man wanted in connection to a bank robbery is considered armed and risky.

Police describe the suspect as a 25 year-old Hispanic male, approximately 200 pounds who was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black ski mask and khaki trousers.

After viewing video surveillance and talking to witnesses, detectives determined that the Trailblazer was connected to both robberies. Troopers searched the area for the suspects, but were unable to locate them.

Investigators are looking for a suspect in a closing-time robbery at a Vestal business. There were no injuries reported.

At approximately 7:25 p.m. a robber wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark trousers, black mask and gloves armed with a black pistol entered Z1 Express gas station, located at 650 Second St., and demanded cash.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at either department.
