The driver of the four-wheel-drive, 50-year-old Craig Whitall, was reportedly travelling home from a Nowra methadone clinic when he was also killed in the collision.

Jessica has reportedly undergone several surgeries, including the removal of a kidney and part of her skull, and has been in a coma.

Last night, the Daily Telegraph revealed Jessica's extended family had made a decision to switch off her life support in the hope that she could be woken from her coma.

She now remains in critical condition, a hospital spokeswoman has confirmed.

Her sister Annabelle, 21, initially survived, but died three days later in the hospital on December 29.

News of her life support being switched off came after her family were laid to rest in Sydney - including sister Annabelle and parents Lars and Vivian.

Jessica Falkholt has been taken off life support after being involved in a auto accident that killed four others.

Falkholt's life support news comes just a day after her entire family were farewelled in an emotional funeral.

After the crash, Darien Collier was one of the first people on the scene and pulled the sisters from the wreckage. He had previously been subject to a nine-year driving ban and had at least 10 convictions for driving while disqualified.

Jessica Falkholt's co-stars have paid tribute to the actress after her life support machine was turned off on Thursday.

Police believe the crash occurred when a large vehicle crossed the centre line and crashed head on with the Falkholt family's auto.

Our thoughts are with the Falkholt's family and friends at this hard time.

'Whenever asking how long it would take to drive somewhere I would suggest an average for a normal driver and then add some additional time for the Lars factor.

'They are together and always will be...

"The ones who love us never really leave us, you can always find them in here (the heart)", Ms Macchetta told the service.

Harmony was the last movie Jessica filmed before the horror crash last month.
