James Franco Accused of Sexual Misconduct and Inappropriate Behavior by Five Women

On Thursday, the Los Angeles Times published a report detailing five accusations of "inappropriate or sexually exploitative behavior" against actor James Franco. She alleges that, during the shoot, Franco removed plastic guards from the women's genitals and then simulated sex acts.

Two other students, Hilary Dusome and Natalie Chmiel, both 33, also told the Los Angeles Times yesterday Franco got "visibly angry" when they refused to go topless during a commercial.

"He just took advantage of our eagerness to work and be a part of something bigger", Chmiel said.

Another woman, Violet Paley, says Franco pressured her into performing oral sex on him while sitting in her vehicle in 2016.

Actor James Franco, who recently earned a Golden Globes award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his role in "The Disaster Artist", has been accused of inappropriate behavior.

Franco is the latest high-profile figure in media and entertainment to face accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct.

"One of the things I've learned is that this is a conversation that obviously needs to be had", he said. The woman told him online that she was "nearly 18", and Franco allegedly asked her: "Should I rent a room?" His attorney did not immediately respond to TIME's request for comment. If I have done something wrong, I will fix it.

The star also said other claims made on Twitter were "not accurate". "Our instructors were excellent, student feedback was positive and this recent tweet from a former student is very inconsistent with the mission of the school and we are investigating this matter", he said.

"Look, in my life I pride myself on taking responsibility for things that I have done", he told Colbert.

Franco's attorney, Michael Plonsker, told the Times, "Any online posting of videos, including if applicable Vimeo, were operated and created by the students to showcase their collective work". [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [music] I have no idea what I did to Ally, I directed her in a play off broadway I had nothing but a great time with her, total respect for her.

Franco also attended the National Board of Review Awards gala in New York City on Tuesday to present his film's adapted screenplay award. Franco stressed that listening to those who come forward is important - even if he denied these specific claims against him. The class promised students that they might be cast in some of Franco's films, but the roles rarely came up-and if they did they often involved nudity.

On Late Night with Seth Meyers, James Franco once again spoke about the sexual misconduct allegations that have been leveled against him.

Tither-Kaplan and others, like Violet Paley, posted allegations against the actor online during Sunday's Golden Globes after spotting him wearing a "Times Up" pin.

"I felt so pressured...and he started pushing my head towards it", she said.

"I'm here to listen and learn and change my perspective where it's off, and I'm completely willing and want to".

The renewed scrutiny on Franco comes four years after he apparently sent a series of text messages, posted on the image-sharing website Imgur, in which he seemed to try to seduce a 17-year-old Scottish girl he had met outside a Broadway theater in NY.

"I want to say I wore it because I do support it", Franco said to Colbert.
