TCL's BlackBerry KeyOne family is growing yet again, this time with a Bronze Edition.

- It wasn't that long ago that the BlackBerry brand seemed stagnant, but devices like the KEYone and the more recent Motion seem to have gotten some people feeling the faith once more.

There's a new BlackBerry on the block, but it's not a whole new handset, for now.

The limited edition BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition features a matte bronze finish and adds dual-SIM compatibility for select global markets. It comes with all the security and productivity features that made the KEYone such as popular smartphone among BlackBerry fans.

TCL gave a Q1 2018 launch window for the Bronze Edition KEYone, but hasn't released pricing information.

"With new BlackBerry smartphones from TCL Communication now available in over 50 countries around the world, we have a solid foundation to continue building upon our portfolio in the new year". As for what those two smartphones will be is anyone's guess at the moment, as BlackBerry hasn't revealed any details whatsoever, but it's highly likely we'll see at least one at Mobile World Congress next month. The phone runs a pretty lightly skinned version of Android 7.1 with a good handful of BlackBerry software tweaks, many of which BlackBerry says will be trickling down to the KeyOne. The Motion launched in Q4 of past year but initially skipped the USA market. The mid-range smartphone has a 5.5-inch FHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 system-on-chip, 4GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, water and dust resistance, and the promise of an Android 8.0 Oreo update "later this year".
