But once that's complete, Ubisoft's multiplayer action game will see the arrival of one of the 80's most iconic action movie antagonists, as well as a series of items created to complement the hunter.

Yesterday we told you that it looked like The Predator was coming to Ghost Recon Wildlands. According to a post over at Ubisoft's blog players who succeed will not only get to gloat about having defeated the god-damn Predator but will also get the movie alien's iconic mask and corresponding heat vision.

The Hunt DLC is expected to launch today - but we now don't know specifically what time its due to drop. Not in its own game, mind you, but in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands through a partnership between Ubisoft and FoxNext Games. While I hoped for it to be a 4 player co-op mode where players have to survive being hunted by a Predator, others thought it would just be a new solider class with Predator-like gadgetry, like camo.

The Predator is a ideal fit for the Bolivian Jungle of Ghost Recon Wildlands and fits flawlessly within the tense and tactical gameplay of the franchise from Ubisoft.

Upon defeating the Predator, players will be rewarded with exclusive items, such as the mask, which offers the much renowned Predator vision.

"The challenge is full of references to the original Predator movie, and we can not wait to see the reaction of our players!"

"To help you fully embrace your inner hunter, the Predator Pack (available in the in-game store) introduces 15 new customization items inspired by the original movie, including weapons and a new close combat move".

Ubisoft is including a Ghost War PvP mode that features a new soldier that is inspired by Dutch, who Arnold Schwarzenegger played in the movie "Predator".

According to Abboud, Predator will run around, jump through trees, and taunt you from afar.
