At least one person has been killed and three others critically injured after being struck by a auto in Queens, New York City, early morning Sunday, AP reports citing police. Police said that they have no information about what prompted the scuffle but that investigations of the two incidents are ongoing.

Police say the crash happened after a knife fight outside a hookah lounge at 127th and Liberty Avenue. The other people struck and the two people stabbed were in stable condition. Police are searching for the driver, who they say had his hair in a ponytail.

The driver then got back in the auto and drove onto the sidewalk about half a block away, striking six victims.

One of the injured was in critical condition.

One person was taken into custody at the scene, the NYPD tweeted. The names and ages of the people struck were not immediately available.

On Halloween, Sayfullo Saipov careened into a crowd of pedestrians in Lower Manhattan, killing eight people in what police said was a terror-related attack.

Police have not released any information about the victims, the driver or the vehicle.
