Caitliyn Frisina, the 17-year-old Florida girl who was missing for a week and believed to be with her soccer coach, has been found in NY and is safe, according to reports.

In addition, Frasina's parents discovered sexual messages on Snapchat between her and Rodriguez after her disappearance.

Columbia County Sheriff's Office was searching for 17-year-old Caitlyn Frisina, who went missing with a high school soccer coach last Saturday.

The sheriff's office said Caitlyn Frisina was found safe in NY.

Authorities scheduled a press conference for Monday with more updates.

Law enforcement officials had confirmed this week that Frisina, 17, was with 27-year-old Rian Rodriguez, traveling north from Florida after they were seen at a pawn shop in Fayetteville, N.C. on Sunday.

Rodriguez was initially detained on a warrant for interference with child custody. It's believed she left voluntarily with him, authorities said earlier. The officer pulled the auto over and took Rodriguez into custody without incident, the sheriff's office said.

According to a missing persons report, Frisina left her home through her bedroom window, taking some clothes and her wallet but leaving her cellphone, which had been erased of data.

The affidavit also reveals that a school resource officer investigated a rumor in August that Frasina and Rodriguez were in a relationship but concluded it was false.

According to statement released by the Columbia County School District, they said they were working in tandem with the sheriff's office and added that the coach has been suspended due to the ongoing investigation.

Frisina has played soccer at Fort White High School, according to an online roster published by Next College Student Athlete.
