Green Cuisine is recalling over 36,000 pounds of chicken and turkey salad products that may have hard silica and glass fragments in it, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The ready-to-eat salads were produced between November 4 and November 15.

The store posted on its website saying that packages of white meat chicken salad, curried white chicken deli salad, and turkey cranberry apple salad sold in some areas could be contaminated.

The company announced that the supplier informed them of the potential hazard for white meat chicken salad, curried white chicken deli salad and turkey cranberry apple salad. The store is urging customers to discard the products or return them for a refund.

Affected products were made in separate facilities with "use by" dates between November 10-21 and the USDA inspection code, P-40299.

Trader Joe's says only products with the "INSPECTED" code P-40299 could contain the contaminants, so any other "INSPECTED" code isn't included in the recall.

Trader Joe's has since removed all affected products from its shelves.
