The upcoming OnePlus 5T appears to be the 2017 flagship phone that OnePlus 5 should have been.

The buzz around the OnePlus 5T has further increased following the announcement of the launch of the phone on November 16 in India.

Another given reason was that users won't be able to work on the device while it is kept on wireless charging pads.

The iPhone X has several new features that have amazed users across the globe, including the incorporation of an OLED display screen, and new facial recognition software. "Wired quick charging solutions like ours clearly outshine wireless on quantitative measures", Lau wrote. Pete Lau, OnePlus' CEO, actually said that the OnePlus 5T will cost less than $600, though his latest post is rather worrisome for those of you who are looking to purchase the OnePlus 5T. Nowadays, students are purchasing OnePlus smartphones and the company is willing to provide a safe charging mechanism instead of wireless mode.

The second reason on why dash charger is better than wireless, Lau says, "Dash Charge gives you enough power for the day with just one charging session".

We are close to launch of the OnePlus 5T smartphone.

Lau believes that wireless charging is an exciting concept, but dash charge is a much superior option for the time being.

Just like its predecessor, the OnePlus 5T will come equipped with the brand's proprietary Dash Charge fast charging technology. However, Lau also didn't slam the door on a future inclusion of the feature. According to OnePlus, there is no reason for them to offer Wireless charging since their Dash Charge can charge faster than that.

Why no wireless charging? Even 10-15 minutes of charging can potentially get you hours of use, and it's changed the way I charge my phone. Since the company won't be bringing wireless charging on OnePlus 5T, it is expected to arrive with a metallic body.

He adds that Dash Charge is power efficient and stays cool, and that for wireless charging to be truly convenient there need to be charging pads readily available around your home, which can add up to a significant expense. However, Lau did mention that OnePlus will consider adopting wireless charging "when the time is right".
