The polls or questions can be initiated through interactive stickers that allow users an easy way to ask questions said the Instagram post.

After testing in Portugal last month, the option to syndicate Instagram Stories to Facebook Stories has now also appeared for US users.

If you've been on Instagram recently, then you probably know that it has welcomed a new feature.

The stories features, a copy of the Snapchat feature of the same name, was introduced a year ago on Instagram and was rumoured to be Facebook just testing the idea for their own platform.

Instagram has been criticised after adding a feature to its app that reveals which way people have voted.

However, it slightly backfired when everyone flocked to using Instagram stories but Facebook stories did not take off in the same way and ever since Facebook has been trying to direct you to Facebook stories.

Facebook has also confirmed that the feature is being officially rolled out for everyone around the world. Well, this is also one of the reasons for Facebook to allow direct posting of Instagram Stories on Facebook Stories.

Instagram is putting the user experience above its own achievement among experts as it has launched Snapchat's features as well as other built by smaller startups.

"You now have the option to share your Instagram Stories to your Facebook Stories". But its safe to say that this feature might be included in future updates.

Despite it having pride of place at the top of the News Feed, most Facebook users are ignoring it, possibly because the Facebook Camera is still relatively new and unfamiliar.
