While Mariota certainly is very fast and the offense occasionally caters to his athleticism with a designed run or option play, it is not their offense.

Cassel appeared in four games for the Titans last season, starting one in place of the injured Mariota.

Earlier in the week, the Tennessee Titans made a decision to sign Brandon Weeden with Marcus Mariota nursing a hamstring injury. He took the bulk of the first-team reps in practice this week after struggling last week coming off the bench.

Point spreads don't look to be much of a factor on the Week 5 National Football League board, with 11 of the remaining 13 games projected to be within a field goal, and precious few options to work on or off key numbers such as 3.5, 4 and 7 means fewer picks against the spread this week.

Only the need isn't enough to win a game, clearly.

Dolphins fans spent most of the team's home opener booing Jay Cutler and the Dolphins lackluster offense.

On defense, aside from superstars Ndamukong Suh and Reshad Jones, the Dolphins heavily rely on older players who are past their primes.
