At Santrampur Temple campus, Gandhi questioned a small trader among the crowd, "Can your company make Rs 80 crore from Rs 50,000 in three to four months?"

"Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will develop UP", he asserted. "Have they done anything for development?"

"For 70 years, you have put your faith in one family, nothing came of it, now put your faith in the BJP and Modi", said Amit Shah. "What have you done?" asked Shah.

At Tuesday's meeting, a slew of projects were unveiled for Amethi and a number of foundation stones were laid, days after Rahul Gandhi had during his visit here accused the BJP governments at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh of re- inaugurating the projects launched by the previous UPA regime in the district.

Urging the public to vote for the BJP in the next elections for the development of Amethi, Shah said that there were two models of development in Amethi - a "Nehru-Gandhi model" and the "Modi model".

Summary: "Congressmen all over India want Rahul Gandhi to take up the reins of Congress party and lead them. I want to ask "Shahzade" of Congress as to what your three generations have given to Amethi", he said.

"He is now in Gujarat trying to ridicule our development work". "The people of Gujarat, not BJP, will offer the report card of the state's development under the party rule". Rahul baba, kabhi Amethi ko dekh lijiye...

However the opposition parties while demanding an explanation from Prime Minister Modi and resignation of Amit Shah, are criticising the government for fielding a union minister to defend the BJP Chief and his son.

Ms Irani said Mr Gandhi had used derogatory comments about women associated with the RSS.

"I have just read out 12 schemes, the entire list is still there". The all-out attack was centred around Rahul Gandhi, who is now campaigning in Gujarat. You had given a prime minister, whom people were desperate to hear. "Why have poor not got houses?" he asked. There was never a befitting reply given. The Congress also has to come out with an economic agenda, which will appeal to the voters.

"A vast stretch of land was given by farmers long back for construction of the Samrat cycle factory. When nothing much happened, there is an effort to occupy the land illegally and despite eviction notice, they are not letting the land go", she said.

The Congress leader further said, "Modiji had said "Na khaunga, na khane doonga" (won't take bribes, nor let anyone take)".

Flaying the Congress for neglecting development, Adityanath heaped praise on Modi. Rahul Gandhi said, "Their organisation is the RSS".
