Mbappe scores on debut as PSG rout Metz in Ligue 1

Kylian Mbappe was delighted to score on his Paris Saint-Germain debut as the Ligue 1 giants thumped 10-man FC Metz 5-1 at Stade Saint-Symphorien on Friday.

Wenger explored the opportunity of a bargain for the 18-year-old very early in the summer, when it was extensively reported the pair held a three-hour meeting in the French funding. "I want to show my best each match and improve alongside the best players in Europe".

Kylian Mbappe scored a superb goal on his debut for Paris St Germain and Edinson Cavani netted twice as the Ligue 1 leaders stretched their flawless start to five wins with a 5-1 rout of 10-man Metz in an entertaining clash on Friday.

Mbappe moved to PSG from Monaco late on deadline day on an initial loan that will see him join permanently in the summer for €180 million.

After starting in Monaco's season opener last month, the 18-year-old forward was an unused substitute in the next three consecutive matches amid his impending move to hometown club PSG, but the France global is in line to face Metz on Friday, according to Emery.

'I got to meet some of the first-team players - (Didier) Drogba, (Florent) Malouda - the French-speaking ones and took some pictures with them'.

Growing up as a PSG fan, Mbappe said that Ronaldinho was his idol when he was younger.

PSG boast an attacking line worth £450million with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Draxler and Edinson Cavani all in the starting XI. Such was the impact of Cavani Mbappe and Neymar on the opposition defence that Metz at times were left haplessly watching.

Mbappe is expected to make his PSG debut tonight against Metz. "I've always said that the Champions League is a special competition". We have to maintain the control of financial management of the clubs.

Mbappe, who hails from Paris, was raised as a PSG supporter and the player has made no secret of that fact.

"We talked about it and he asked me what I thought".
