Browns players appear in pre-game video on racial inequality

The Browns played well.

The players also asked owner Jimmy Haslam and his wife Dee to join them on the field during the anthem, writes Florio, who adds that "The video flows directly from the message given to players by Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown" after the Giants preseason game.

Brown reportedly told the team during that meeting, "do not disrespect your country, do not disrespect the flag".

A 2-yard touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger gave the Steelers a 21-10 lead against the Browns with about six minutes left in the third quarter.

After their first drive got shut down early in the quarter and ended with a blocked punt for a touchdown by the Steelers, Kizer got a lot of work in the first quarter under center for the Browns, and managed to put together a solid drive to end the quarter. The Steelers came at the rookie quarterback in waves and sacked the young signal caller seven times. Cleveland only managed 237 yards in total offense.

Antonio Brown had 80 yards on three receptions on the drive - one of them 50 yards on a pass deflected by linebacker Joe Schobert over the middle.

But with a loss comes negatives as well.

They did make it close at the end after cutting it to 21-18 following a touchdown pass from Kizer to Corey Coleman, followed by a successful two-point conversion, but it was simply too late as the Steelers were able to run out the clock after a questionable reception from Brown that should have been knocked down by the defense anyway.

This team has a qualified individual at quarterback, who just needs more experience.

The Browns have the Baltimore Ravens next week on the road, which is no easy task.

Browns fans are no stranger to disappointment and misery, but usually it takes a little longer than four plays into the season for that to kick in.
