CBSE Class 12 exam results were declared last Sunday with a slight decline in pass percentage at 82.02% compared to 83.05% in 2016.

Pass percentage in CBSE Class X exam falls to 90.95 per cent from 96.21 per cent past year, registering dip of over 5 per cent, officials said today.

Most CBSE schools in the city registered cent per cent results, with several students scoring a 10/10 cumulative grade point average (CGPA).

All the candidates who have appeared in Class 10th examinations conducted by CBSE are now eagerly waiting for their results.

A total of 90.5 per cent students cleared the CBSE Class 10 exams this year, the board announced on Saturday. There is slight delay in the declaration of results not only because of assembly elections but due to controversy surrounding the marks moderation policy.

According to CBSE data, the percentage for school-based candidates is 94.02 per cent and as for boarding-based ones, the percentage is 94.78.
