Surprise! Simone Biles Voted Off 'Dancing With the Stars'

The "DWTS" elimination of Olympic gymnast Simone Biles on Monday shocked the judges and cohost Erin Andrews as the reality competition show whittled its way down to the final three dance pairs.

Last night on Dancing with the Stars Season 24, we got to see the final four couples take on two new performances.

National Football League running back Rashad Jennings was told by Tonioli that "he has charisma but is still a bit rough around the edges, I know you can catch a ball - but can you catch my challenge?" he quipped.

To which Biles replied: "Smiling doesn't win you gold medals".

While Kordei holds up the "I Have Never" side of her paddle, Biles clearly suggests otherwise as she tries to get the truth out there. Currently Normani Kordei & Val Chmerkovskiy are leading with 79 out of 80 points but not far behind is Rashad Jennings & Emma Slater. Bruno said Rashad's charisma was out of this world and Julianne added that he was light on his feet with a great frame.

After being born to a drug and alcohol addicted mother, Simone Biles was adopted by her grandparents, who she considers to be her mom and dad. The others - more specifically Sasha and Simone and Emma and Rashad - aren't to be counted out though. "You are an absolute star", Julianne said. The dance, to "Desperado" by Rihanna, was almost flawless but Kordei stumbled coming out of a turn and it cost her a point from each judge.

And while it was between the last four hopefuls, the resulting elimination was still a surprise to everyone in the studio. But in a shocking turn of events, she was voted off at the end of the show.

"I'm just thankful to be at this competition", Biles said. I feel like I've learned a lot about myself, I've matured.

Tune in on Monday and Tuesday next week at 8 pm ET to see who wins it all. "We still became family, and, I mean, there's only one victor at the end of the day, but I think that all of us can take something away from this show besides just the Mirror Ball Trophy". As for the dance, Carrie Anne responded with a very loud "yes you DID!"

Now, the elite gymnast has taken her routine from the balance beam to the dance floor on the 24th season of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars".
