After much speculations about when the CBSE would announce the most awaited result of Class 12th board exams conducted by CBSE in March 2017, the results have finally been announced online. The Class XII exam results will be declared on the official result websites.

The results are being declared one week late than a year ago, the board declared CBSE Class 12 results on May 21 in 2016. Access to the roll number wise results for CBSE 12th Board Exams would be activated shortly.

Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar had on Thursday assured students that there will be no delay in the results and justice will be done to everyone.

NEET results will be out only in the first week of June or later as the matter concerning seat distribution is in court.

The Central Board of Secondary Education had earlier withheld the results of class 12 board exams after the Delhi High Court ordered the board to retain the moderation policy. "This could result in a slight dip in scores", the board official was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times. Students those have enrolled for the CBSE 12th Examinations 2017 can check their results from CBSE Official website, cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE 12th Class Result 2017 SMS will be sent directly to the student's mobile.

In April, CBSE had agreed to scrap its "moderation policy" under which grace marks are given to students in exams for hard questions. There has been a 2.82 per cent point increase in the number of students from that of 2016.

In April, CBSE said that it will do away with its policy of giving grace marks to students with immediate effect.
