The 2017 MISS USA airs live Sunday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET live/PT tape-delayed on FOX.

The contestants' remarks stand in stark contrast to the scandal that enveloped the pageant in 2015, when then-part owner and now U.S. President Donald Trump offended Hispanics when he made anti-immigrant remarks in announcing his bid for the White House. The Miss USA pageant will feature women from each state as well as the nations capitol, and will be hosted by Julianne Hough, Ashley Graham and Terrence J. Performers for this years festivities included Grammy Award-winner Pitbull and CMA Award-winner Brett Eldredge.

Miss USA 2016 Deshauna Barber will be on hand to crown her successor at the end of the two-hour TV event. The broadcast also will include a performance from a Cirque du Soleil show - a Las Vegas staple - based on Michael Jackson songs.
