Thoughts about the iPhone 8?

Seeing as how the iPhone form factor design has more or less remained unchanged since the 2014 release of the iPhone 6, the current iPhone owners have been rooting for something new and different for years now. IPhone 8, iPhone 7s iPhone 7s Plus, Apple intends to present in early fall of this year, and rumor has it that iPhone 8 it will ask at least $1000.

Apple follows a tick-tock update cycle with their iPhones.

No one can ever accuse Apple of selling cheap phones, but as expensive as its iPhones have been in the past, it seems the gadget's newest incarnation will be the priciest yet.

Kuo, who is a famous Apple analyst, believes that the iPhone 8 will have the dual-lens camera that was originally introduced in the iPhone 7 Plus. The iPhone 7 Plus's camera bump sadly looks set to stay. One of the reasons for the "premium" price tag may be the higher cost of incorporating 3D Touch on the iPhone 8's rumored OLED screen.

Another point worth noting is that the camera module on the iPhone 8 is oriented vertically, a design which echoes a number of leaked schematics and designs we've seen over the past few months.

Other rumoured features of the iPhone 8 include a 3D-sensing front camera, upgraded waterproofing and aluminium rear casing.

The bezels also appear to have gone and the device now has an edge-to-edge display. The True Tone display changes its hue and color temperature depending on the atmosphere.

As rumoured, it appears the Home button has been ditched, along with the fingerprint scanner that was said to be moving to the back of the device.

Various reports coming in from sources like the Goldman Sachs, Nikkei, Fast Company and KGI securities suggest a rather surprising feature of the iPhone 8. They also did this with the most recent generation of MacBook Pro. This is versus the rumors which have suggested that Apple could be going for an embedded sensor. In fact, a handful of reports have even claimed that Apple might push back the iPhone 8 release date all the way to November. Even some of the more optimistic speculations we've seen have said that the device might not be released until October.
